There are so many ideas and opinions about having babies and while the below are obviously my opinions I kept it short and simple for you. I hope this helps you calm down a little if you’re nervous about your parenting journey.
1. Three baby items you don’t need:
When I was in my third year of college and my first quarter at Houston Baptist University I remember calling my mom begging to quit HBU and come back to San Antonio and she told me, “Julie, you think the grass is always greener on the other side.” This is, in fact, a very true statement.

Last Monday was a day I had been looking forward to for a long time. I was finally going to get back into the swing of working out. My work out choice for the past few years has been hot yoga. If you haven’t tried it, it’s pretty amazing what it can do to your body. After having two kids I was ready!
I signed up for a two week, two hours, everyday hot yoga boot camp. I was excited to jump start my body again and honestly, to get some “me” time in. While it’s been amazing and I have seen some results, what it really made me realize was that I REALLY missed my evenings with my babies.
Being a full-time working mom and then coming home to take care of two babies is tiring. I thought a little bit of yoga would help to relax me, but every night for two weeks, is not what I thought it would be. Continue reading
When I say I have had a weight issue for as long as I can remember, that is not an exaggeration. And I don’t mean with actual weight gain/loss just with how I see myself. I can remember standing in front of a mirror and obsessing over how “fat” my stomach was when I was maybe ten! That is not healthy!
